A minimal approach to the 1950s vintage travel poster.

This Visit Sudan illustration displays what is historically considered the longest river in the world—the Nile. This natural body of water has been a lifeline of civilization in Sudan since the Stone Age, with many of the cities resting along parts of the nile. The central figures detail the traditional wooden sailing boat known as the 'falookah,' a common and calming sight seen among the river's waters. The Arabic text reminds us that "Sudan welcomes you."
